At a later date when the dog's not barking, the phone's not ringing, the doorbell chimes are stilled, my head's not buzzing, the neighbor's not hollaring, the radio's not blaring, the TV's not babbling, the cat's not yowling, the cricket's not chirruping, the rooster has stopped his cackling ....
